Memberships
Honorary Fellow (Hon FHKSNT)
This is the premier class of membership in the Society and an Honorary Fellow should:
- be a distinguished personnel in non-destructive testing (NDT) and diagnostics industry
- be at least 50 years of age
- elected by the Executive Board
Fellow Member (FHKSNT)
This is the senior class of membership in the Society and a Fellow should:
- have achieved position of high responsibility to which he /she has brought superior knowledge and practice of a discipline related to NDT and diagnostics
- be at least 35 years of age
- being Corporate Member for at least 3 years
- be supported by 1 Fellow and 1 Corporate Member in application.
- All Executive Board Members shall be Fellow Member
Corporate Member (MHKSNT)
This is the ordinary class of membership in the Society and a Corporate Member should:
- be a degree holder in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 2 years’ minimum work experience in diagnosis; or
- be a higher diploma/higher certificate holder/Level III qualification in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 4 years’ minimum work experience in diagnostics; and
- attain the age of 25;
Co-opted Member
Co-opted Member belongs to Corporate Membership in the Society and he/she shall:
- be a degree holder in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 2 years’ minimum work experience in diagnosis; or
- be a higher diploma/higher certificate holder/Level III qualification in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 4 years’ minimum work experience in diagnostics; and
- attain the age of 25;
Company Member
This membership class is open to renowned company in NDT and diagnostics industry and a Company Member should:
- AS or Executive Director shall be a degree holder in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 2 years’ minimum work experience in diagnosis; or
- be a higher diploma/higher certificate holder/Level III qualification in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses 4 years’ minimum work experience in diagnostics
- Be supported by 1 Fellow
Associate Member
An Associate Member should
- attain the age of 21.
- be a degree/higher diploma/higher certificate holder/Level II qualification in NDT and diagnostics related discipline and possesses some work experience in the field;
Affiliated Member
This membership class is open to any person who is without any related academic qualification but expresses interest in NDT and diagnostics industry. Application of this membership class will be considered on individual basis and subject to the discretion of the Institute’s Executive Board. An Affiliated Member should:
- attain the age of 21.
Student Member
This is the ordinary class of membership in the Society and a Corporate Member should:
- attain the age of 18
- Shall be a full-time student
